isoplus - Rigid Connection Systems
Single pipes
isoplus single pipes are mainly used as an energy pipe for the effective and enduring transport of district heating and district cooling. However, these pipes also have a broad area of application in the food and oil industries. As an insulation material, high-quality freon free PUR foam which is also protected against environmental influences by a non-breakable and water-tight PEHD casing is used. All pipes and formed components manufactured at our factory can be worked on as a modular system on-site and thus without any difficulty.
Double pipes
isoplus double pipes are an effective addition to isoplus single pipes in order to transport district heating and cooling with the most optimized ecological benefits to consumers. Due to the design principle of the double pipe system, this leads to optimum utilization of the insulation, in addition to saving costs and space during installation as a result of the minimised dimensions of the system.
Insulation and continuous pipe technology
A polyurethane rigid foam, comprised of the components polyol and isocyanate and in accordance with EN 253, is used as insulation material (PUR). As a result of an exothermic chemical reaction, a high-quality insulation with outstanding thermal conductivity, λ50 = 0.0225 up to max. 0.0275 W/(mK), at a minimal specific weight is produced. Due to the innovative continuous pipe production process, a uniform density of foam and strength of the PEHD casing can be achieved. This helps to additionally minimise any losses of heat. A diffusion barrier layer which is found between the PUR foam and the PEHD protective casing additionally prevents a partially gas exchange related change in the insulation material. The excellent insulation characteristics of the pipes remain constant for virtually their entire service life.
Casing pipes
isoplus casing pipes are made of a seamless extruded, impact resistant and non-breakable high-density polyethylene PEHD (Polyethylene High Density). PEHD has been a tried and tested plastic for plastic pipe casing systems for years, in addition to being the only substance listed in all standards and guidelines for plastic pipe casing systems.
PEHD is to a high degree resistant to weather conditions and UV rays, which allows it to be positioned in direct sunlight for longer periods of time. In addition, PEHD possesses outstanding welding properties whereby the weld seams of the formed parts are of the highest standards and quality.
